I have pulled the card of the week from the Golden Thread Tarot deck. Created by Labryinthos and designed by Tina Gong, I refer this deck to people who want access to a deck and don't have funds. They have a companion app and website that allows you access to daily pulls from their deck. This readings energy is in play from 5/31/2021 into 6/7/2021. Utilize it to reflect on as a meditation, for journal prompts and/or to plan out how you may move for the week. Apply it to yourself and useful for the collective as well.

If you find this reading helpful, please share and like. Book a reading or consult if you'd like to discuss this further and how it applies to yourself or to get your own reading for the new month. If you want to send a tip:

The card of the week is Judgment (20), reversed. A major arcana card, this week may bring some heavy themes and revelations, though necessary. This week begins with Memorial Day. This holiday was created by African Americans who were enslaved and had found freedom (in a variety of ways). Started as a way to honor Union soldiers who were killed in the Civil War and not given proper burials, it created space to commemorate the dead respectfully. As I consider this, the first image I look to is of the hands reaching out from the graveyard grounds. I see this as our ancestors reaching out to be honored, calling our attention to their stories, their dreams and how we can create space to commemorate them.

This first part of the image also makes me think of secrets of family, ancestors and the past spilling out. The judgment is coming to us and it's up to us to decide how we want to proceed. We may learn of stories, histories and ideas that may be shocking. But how will we hold them? Will we instantly jump to judgment? Or will we take the time to consider the nuance? Are we in a position to look at this information fully or may we have to table it for another time?

This card shows a skull with a trumpet flying in on the wind. This trumpet often symbolizes a call to truth, justice and clearing away of what no longer serves ourselves or the spaces we occupy. In reverse, it almost looks like the hands are reaching towards this figure. Our ancestors and the universe may be asking for us to embrace this clearing away of what no longer serves us. Sometimes this includes bringing things hidden to the light and taking them to task. Doing some of the work our ancestors may not have been able to do. This may be around big issues like sexuality, mental health, genetic/ancestral secrets and more. While these matters can hit us like a truck when we learn them, they must be learned. How can we bring our ancestors legacy forward if we aren't living fully in our truth? In what ways can we embrace the things that may make us very uncomfortable to transform the future of legacy and what our descendants will have to work through?

I do not always read reversals. But I believe sometimes they're important. This is a time not just of us having careful and calculated judgment. This is a time where we are being judged. By our ancestors, by the Universe. To see, are you moving us forward to where freedom lives? Or are you stagnating that possibility for yourself and others? None of us are perfect but this week will be a good time to consider how we want to move. How do we want to treat ourselves? Our friends and family? Those we have sexual relationships with? Does it match up with what you believe is the legacy you want to leave? Will those you love see it this way? Just some things to consider.

As we enter Mercury retrograde in full swing, a lot of wires can get crossed. So this card reminds us it's best to focus on our own plates first. It's easier to judge those things external to us. However, now is the time for the internal. Because the external will provide enough stimulation. the internal is how we navigate those things. When we judge others, we open ourselves to be judged. This reversal asks if you are willing to receive what you give? If so, dig into that. If not, consider some

ways that you may want to make some

small changes.

I hope everyone has a week full of the energy they hope to call in.
